Arnold Arboretum( Harvard University) - Forest Hills

I went on a weekend in the Forest Hills with my husband this month for the autumn scenery. It was sunny, yet cold and windy that day, I bundled up (wore a lot to keep warm) before getting out. The the sound of autumn leaves rustling, the wind and the dusk, everything was a sign of the late autumn, you could smell it and got to know that the winter was coming right on the way.

Although it WAS cold, we felt happy enjoying the great view. In fact, it was the last view of the red leaves in this autumn, lucky me! By the way,the place was the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, good to visit all year round except the winter days.

An building like a castle

I like this: the red foliage, a shady path and street lamps and benches(in hiding)

These two photos were great too, colorful leaves beyond the water,I love it.
My hands reached out, catching nothing but a leaf that was falling.

My friend Nana said it was an ink and wash painting, it was! The trees and the houses at the waterside looked amazing!

Enjoy the bewitching autumn foliage on the water's edge.
