visiting Xi'an & Yan'an

A couple of years ago, I went to Xi'an & Yan'an( Shaanxi province) in China with some friends, and had a good time in the historical city, one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. 


The places we visited including the Terracotta Army,Huaqing hot springs,Yan'an revolutionary memorial hall, and so on.

Terracotta Army:

The Terracotta Army are lots of sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang,the first Emperor of China.These sculptures were burried to protect the emperor after his death in around 200 BC.

When the statue is just excavated out, it is colorful , has vivid colors. However, the color disappears quickly after being in the air since the technology hasn't  been able to protect it. Because of this, most part of the Terracotta Army is still buried underground. 

Huaqing hot springs:
It was built in the Tang Dynasty as part of the Huaqing Palace, the place where the emperor Xuanzong and his consort Yang Guifei had baths and their romance.

There was one interesting thing if you look at the two pics carefully as below:

 

In the first picture we can't see any nevi on Mao's chin, however there is one in the second picture. It was said that the nevus on Mao's chin didn't appear until when he was 35 years old(or so), and from then on he didn't fail all his life. Is that true ? You could figure it out if you have interest.

The Bahamas 

Couple of months ago, we took a cruise from Miami to the the Bahamas for a four-night trip. There was a lot of fun, we hung out in the strew market, jewelry stores(Nassau); we had a BBQ on the Coco bay; we caught some ray on the beach and couldn't help falling asleep. It was amazing ! Just relax, all the bothering things related to work or study or whatever went out of my mind.

On the cruise, there were also many things to do, like having dance classes, watching movies, rock climbing, enjoying the buffet, and the list went on and on . As a matter of fact, it was the best vocation I have ever had ! Recommend ! 

Any friends who are interested in having peace and escaping away from the daily grinds could check it out , it won't let you down !

Coco Bay ,the beach: when you come here, you just calm down, kick back and relax. I lied there feeling the breeze on my face, hearing the sound from the sea, and appreciated the wonderful view, what a wonderful life it was !
